Barbecue evenings
The front yard is the heart of the stay.
A rural house for 4 guests in Tanda, Ponga: mountains, forest, quiet and barbecue evenings.
El Rincón del Cuélebre is not trying to feel like a hotel. It is a village house in northern Spain, in a place ruled by the mountains: stone, wood, misty mornings, green slopes and a barbecue waiting after a day outside.
It sits in Tanda, inside Ponga Natural Park and recently declared a Biosphere Reserve, one of Asturias’ most special and least crowded areas. From here you can walk through beech forests, climb to viewpoints, explore deep valleys, visit tiny villages or head towards Cangas de Onís, Covadonga and the coast.

Two bedrooms — one room with a 1.35 m bed and one room with two 0.90 m beds — plus a living room with fireplace, equipped kitchen and a front yard that makes the stay: outdoor breakfasts, simple dinners and barbecue evenings.
A stone-and-timber Asturian refuge made for quiet mornings, mountain walks and unhurried evenings outside.

GPS can get confusing near the village. Use the route through Cangas de Onís, N‑625, AS‑261, Sellaño and Casona de Mestas before climbing up to Tanda.
The clearest arrival is by the main road to Sellaño/Casona de Mestas and then the signed climb to Tanda. In mountain roads, that difference matters.
